Landscape Textures

In this photo series I have chosen photographs (taken during the road trip at different locations) of three details, the texture of the landscape where the pipeline passes through, the mechanical parts of the oil drill machines, and the letters of warning signs at Cushing, Oklahoma.  During the trip I was often struck by the naked presence of the machine sitting on the landscape without any attempt to relate to it, and the human intervention in between that often is in forms of fences and warning signs.  Through the juxtaposition of these details next to each other,  perhaps we can examine the relationship (or the non existence of it) in a different lens.
